Q-Mark Audits

As Q-Mark fire door manufacturers we undergo factory inspections and Q-Mark audits every six months to ensure all of our procedures, practices and documentation are up to date and correct.

The Q-Mark scheme also demands that all members carry out a physical fire test every 2-1/2 years on a doorset of BM Trada’s choice

Government Tests (MHCLG)

In the aftermath of the Grenfell disaster, following the disastrous test results of composite fire doors.

We were chosen by the governments’ MHCLG department as one of 25 No UK door manufacturers required to supply fire rated timber based door sets for independent dual orientation fire tests.

Our Test Result

We are proud to say that we passed with flying colours and so glad that we tested our most popular doorset complete with vision panel and dropdown seal.
Undeniable proof that our fire doors perform!

In our 30 minute fire test, one of our doorsets failed at 53 minutes but the other still hadn’t failed when the test was stopped at 54 minutes – This was for our Averta FD30S laminate faced doorsets.
